Women's Shirts

Shirts in poplin, linen and structured cloth, with long sleeves and a clean collar. Cut straight so they fall without clinging, they carry from the office to the day without changing register. Tuck them into a long skirt or a pair of pleated trousers.

Three cloths, three uses

Poplin is the crisp one: it holds a collar, takes an iron and looks deliberate tucked in. Linen is the summer answer, softer at the shoulder and better the more it is worn. The structured cloths sit between the two and are the ones that work under a jacket, because they keep their shape where a softer shirt would collapse.

Cut for covering

Sleeves are long and the shoulder is cut straight rather than fitted, so the shirt falls from the shoulder instead of following the arm. Bodies are cut long enough to stay tucked through a day, or to be left out over trousers without looking half-finished.

Sizing

XS to XL. Because these are not fitted through the body, take your usual size unless you plan to wear a shirt permanently untucked and want more length — in which case size up once, not twice.
