Women's Coats and Trenches

Trench coats and mid-season coats, from the long camel to the cropped khaki. These are the pieces that go over everything else, so they are cut long and with fall, to cover properly. Worn over long dresses or over a set.

Long or cropped

The long trench, in camel and in chocolate, falls below the knee and closes the whole silhouette. It is the one to reach for over a long dress, because it follows the length rather than cutting across it. The cropped trench stops at the hip in beige, khaki and burgundy and does the opposite — it marks the waist and leaves the line of a skirt or of wide trousers visible underneath.

A coat for the Moroccan season

Tetouan does not get a hard winter. It gets wind, rain and long cool evenings, and that is what these are cut for: enough coat to matter through a wet February, without the bulk a colder country would need. A trench carries from November through March here, and comes back out on summer evenings near the coast.

Fit and belts

Sizes run XS to XL. The cut leaves room for a jacket or a knit underneath without going up a size, and the oversized trench already carries that ease in the pattern. Belts are tied rather than buckled, so the waist sits where you decide it sits.
